Hide Collection ‑ VIP Presales vs Smart Size Chart & Size Guidefor Shopify (2026)
Hide Collection ‑ VIP Presales and Smart Size Chart & Size Guide are two distinct Shopify apps both categorized under 'Product display', but they cater to entirely different merchant needs. Hide Collection ‑ VIP Presales focuses on creating exclusivity and privacy for specific product collections. It allows merchants to hide collections from the storefront and Google search, making them accessible only through a secret URL, enabling early access deals, promotions, or private group sales. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide, on the other hand, aims to improve the customer shopping experience and reduce returns by providing stylish and customizable size charts, making it easier for customers to find the right fit. While both apps enhance product display in their own way, their functionalities don't overlap. Hide Collection ‑ VIP Presales is beneficial for merchants wanting control over product visibility and to run exclusive promotions, whereas Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is crucial for apparel, footwear, or jewelry stores where sizing is critical. The Smart Size Chart & Size Guide boasts a significantly higher rating and a much larger number of reviews, suggesting a more established and positively perceived product. Its key advantages lie in its customization options, responsiveness, and multi-language support.

Our Verdict
The choice between Hide Collection ‑ VIP Presales and Smart Size Chart & Size Guide depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If the merchant is focused on creating exclusive offers, private sales, or controlling the visibility of certain products, Hide Collection ‑ VIP Presales is the appropriate solution. However, for merchants selling products where sizing is a key factor, such as clothing or shoes, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is the clear choice, especially given its high rating and extensive features. The significantly higher review count suggests that the Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is more reliable and offers a more compelling solution for the majority of Shopify stores needing sizing assistance.
Considering the limited number of reviews for Hide Collection ‑ VIP Presales, merchants should exercise caution and potentially seek additional information or alternative solutions before making a decision. While it offers a niche functionality, the lack of substantial user feedback makes it difficult to gauge its reliability and effectiveness compared to the well-received Smart Size Chart & Size Guide.
