HiTide: Grow your SMS List vs ShopiPay SMS Notificationsfor Shopify (2026)
HiTide: Grow your SMS List and ShopiPay SMS Notifications are both SMS marketing apps, but cater to vastly different segments. HiTide focuses on acquiring SMS subscribers through Instagram DM automation, targeting brands already using established SMS marketing platforms like Attentive, BigCo, Klaviyo, Postscript, Sendlane, and Yotpo. Our Verdict
For merchants targeting a global audience and seeking to expand their SMS list through Instagram DM automation, particularly those already using platforms like Attentive or Klaviyo, HiTide: Grow your SMS List is the clear choice. Its integrations, campaign templates, and positive user reviews make it a more reliable and feature-rich option.
ShopiPay SMS Notifications is best suited for Shopify stores primarily serving customers within Georgia and requiring integration with Georgian SMS providers for order notifications. The lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice, but if Georgian SMS integration is a necessity, and the store is willing to test a new app, it might be a viable option. However, merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app's functionality before relying on it.
