Hobuy: Instant Auctions Hub vs Product Samples by Lukefor Shopify (2026)
Hobuy: Instant Auctions Hub and Product Samples by Luke are both Shopify apps aiming to increase sales, but they approach this goal with entirely different strategies and target different types of merchants. Our Verdict
Product Samples by Luke, backed by a perfect rating and a substantial number of reviews, appears to be a safer and more proven choice for merchants concerned about returns and customer satisfaction, especially for product categories where sampling is crucial. The absence of reviews for Hobuy: Instant Auctions Hub makes it a riskier option, although its promise of effortless operation and potentially higher margins through dynamic pricing may appeal to merchants willing to experiment and who have a need to quickly move inventory. A merchant should carefully evaluate their priorities: increased customer trust and reduced returns with Product Samples, or potentially higher profits with a riskier, unproven auction model from Hobuy.
