iDEAL by Lyra Collect vs WeGetFinancing Messagingfor Shopify (2026)
iDEAL by Lyra Collect and WeGetFinancing Messaging address different aspects of the payment process on Shopify. iDEAL by Lyra Collect focuses on enabling merchants to accept payments via the iDEAL payment gateway, offering features like secure payments management, automatic redirection after payment, and the ability to process refunds and cancellations. It targets merchants who specifically want to offer iDEAL as a payment option, particularly in regions where iDEAL is popular. However, it lacks any reviews at this time, making it difficult to gauge user satisfaction and reliability. WeGetFinancing Messaging, on the other hand, aims to increase sales by providing customers with instant access to financing options from multiple lenders. It leverages a Purchase Power Estimator to display monthly payment information on the product page, improving click-through rates and conversion rates. This app is ideal for merchants selling higher-priced items who want to make their products more accessible by offering financing. Despite having only one review, it boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, suggesting a positive initial experience for its users.

Our Verdict
The choice between iDEAL by Lyra Collect and WeGetFinancing Messaging depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the primary goal is to offer iDEAL as a payment option, particularly for customers in countries where iDEAL is popular, then iDEAL by Lyra Collect is the more suitable choice, assuming the merchant can overcome the lack of user reviews and independently verify its reliability. However, if the merchant is looking to increase sales by offering financing options to customers and making higher-priced items more accessible, WeGetFinancing Messaging is the better option.
Given the lack of reviews for iDEAL by Lyra Collect, a cautious approach is advised. WeGetFinancing Messaging has a single positive review and addresses a broader need for many e-commerce stores, namely increasing conversions through financing. Therefore, in the absence of more data for iDEAL by Lyra Collect, WeGetFinancing Messaging appears to be the more promising app based on the available information.
