Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with sizing issues and returns related to fit, ILM Size Chart & Size Guide is the more appropriate choice. It is a specialized solution tailored to this specific problem. However, for merchants who need to organize extensive product descriptions, improve user experience, and offer clear information across multiple products, Tabs Studio offers a more versatile solution. Tabs Studio is likely the better choice for stores with large catalogs, detailed specifications, or those seeking to present more information in an accessible way. It excels at providing a better UI for potentially unwieldy descriptions.
Common Questions
Which app is better for reducing returns?
ILM Size Chart & Size Guide is specifically designed to reduce returns related to sizing issues, offering a targeted solution for apparel and similar industries. Tabs Studio may indirectly help by organizing information, but is not primarily focused on return reduction.
Which app is easier to use?
Both apps claim to be user-friendly with no coding required. However, Tabs Studio's automated tab generation and shared tabs features suggest a potentially faster setup process for larger product catalogs. ILM Size Chart & Size Guide's simplicity might be faster if a store only needs to add a few size charts.
Can I use these apps together?
Yes, technically you can use both apps together. Tabs Studio could house a tab specifically dedicated to a size chart that you create with ILM Size Chart & Size Guide. However, consider if the added complexity is necessary for your specific needs.
Which app is better for mobile users?
Tabs Studio explicitly states its tabs and accordions are fully responsive and WCAG 2.1 compliant, indicating a strong focus on mobile usability. While ILM Size Chart & Size Guide may also be responsive, it isn't explicitly stated. Therefore, Tabs Studio likely offers a superior mobile experience.
Which app provides better value for a large product catalog?
