Influence: Loyalty & Referral vs Swish (formerly Wishlist King)for Shopify (2026)
Influence: Loyalty & Referral and Swish (formerly Wishlist King) both aim to enhance customer loyalty, but they approach it from different angles. Influence focuses on a comprehensive loyalty program with points, referrals, and VIP tiers, positioning itself as a platform for scaling eCommerce brands seeking to increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value. Its strength lies in its customizable loyalty structure, omnichannel support, and integrations with marketing and support tools like Klaviyo and Gorgias. In contrast, Swish (formerly Wishlist King) concentrates on wishlist functionality to drive engagement and conversion at optimal moments. It emphasizes ease of use, aesthetic integration, and advanced analytics related to wishlist behavior. Swish's primary value proposition centers around capturing customer intent and providing personalized notifications to encourage purchase. While Influence offers broader loyalty program features, Swish provides a more focused solution for optimizing the shopping journey through wishlists. Swish also appears to prioritize customer support with a free setup and customization service across all plans. The ideal audience for Influence is likely larger brands with established marketing stacks needing robust loyalty management, while Swish may be better suited for businesses of all sizes looking for a simple, effective way to leverage wishlists for increased sales and customer satisfaction. The number of reviews indicates Swish has a larger user base and potentially more proven track record at this point in time (2026).

Our Verdict
For eCommerce businesses seeking a full-fledged loyalty program with points, tiers, and referral incentives, Influence: Loyalty & Referral is the more suitable choice, especially if they already use Klaviyo or Gorgias. However, the low number of reviews compared to Swish, and slightly lower rating, mean that careful due diligence and possibly a free trial are recommended before committing.
For businesses primarily interested in leveraging wishlists to understand customer intent, provide personalized notifications, and drive conversions, Swish (formerly Wishlist King) is the better option. Its higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest a more positive user experience and potentially a more mature product. The free setup and customization is a significant advantage, especially for smaller businesses with limited technical expertise.
