Instafeed ‑ Instagram Feeds vs Toastibar Sales Popup & Timersfor Shopify (2026)
Instafeed ‑ Instagram Feeds and Toastibar Sales Popup & Timers both leverage social proof, but address different aspects of the customer journey. Instafeed focuses on visual content sourced directly from social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, allowing merchants to curate shoppable feeds and galleries. This app aims to increase engagement and sales by showcasing user-generated content (UGC) and influencer marketing. In contrast, Toastibar leverages real-time data and urgency to drive conversions. Toastibar's strength lies in creating a sense of FOMO (fear of missing out) through sales popups, countdown timers, and displays of recent customer activity. It aims to reassure customers and encourage immediate purchase decisions. While both apps fall under the broader category of social proof, Instafeed is better suited for merchants with strong social media presence, while Toastibar targets merchants looking to optimize their website conversion rates through urgency and validation.

Our Verdict
If your primary goal is to leverage existing social media content to create a visually engaging shopping experience, Instafeed is the better choice. It allows customers to browse and purchase directly from your Instagram and TikTok feeds, making it ideal for brands with strong social media followings.
However, if your focus is on maximizing conversion rates by creating a sense of urgency and highlighting real-time activity, Toastibar is the superior option. The popups and countdown timers can be particularly effective for businesses running promotions or those with limited-time offers. Consider your marketing strategy and which approach aligns best with your goals.
