Instant Search ﹣ InSearch vs Wizzy AI Search & Filterfor Shopify (2026)
Instant Search ﹣ InSearch and Wizzy AI Search & Filter are Shopify apps designed to improve product discovery through enhanced search functionality. InSearch aims to provide customers with more search possibilities by indexing various product details and displaying trending keywords. It positions itself as a simple solution for basic search enhancement. Wizzy AI Search & Filter, on the other hand, offers a more comprehensive AI-powered solution with features like dynamic filters, AI-driven suggestions, synonym support, and advanced product ranking. It targets merchants seeking to optimize their conversion rates and provide a sophisticated search experience. The most significant difference between the two lies in their feature sets and AI integration. While InSearch focuses on basic keyword indexing and trending searches, Wizzy offers contextual search, intent understanding, unlimited custom filters, variant-level search, and analytics integration to improve search relevance and conversion. Furthermore, Wizzy emphasizes not impacting a store's page speed, a critical performance factor for e-commerce businesses. The lack of user reviews for InSearch makes it difficult to assess its real-world performance and reliability, especially compared to the numerous reviews and high rating of Wizzy.

Our Verdict
For smaller Shopify stores with limited budgets and basic search requirements, Instant Search ﹣ InSearch might be a starting point, *if* they are willing to take a risk on an app with no reviews. However, the lack of reviews and limited feature set make it a risky choice. For stores that prioritize advanced search capabilities, dynamic filtering, and AI-driven personalization to enhance conversion rates, Wizzy AI Search & Filter is the clear winner. The higher rating, numerous positive reviews, and comprehensive feature set make it a more reliable and effective solution for merchants serious about optimizing their product discovery experience.
