IO Pay vs Partialy ‑ Partial Payment CODfor Shopify (2026)
IO Pay and Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD are both Shopify apps categorized under Payments, but they cater to significantly different needs. IO Pay, based on its Portuguese description, aims to provide a fast, simple, secure, and modern payment processing solution, highlighting credit card and PIX payments with instant processing. However, it currently lacks any user reviews or ratings, making it difficult to assess its reliability and performance in real-world scenarios. Its target audience appears to be merchants seeking standard credit card and potentially PIX-based payment processing, likely within the Brazilian market, given the Portuguese language used in its description. Partialy, on the other hand, focuses on offering flexible payment options like partial payments (deposits) and advanced Cash on Delivery (COD) rules. It boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 11 reviews, indicating positive user experiences. This app aims to reduce Return To Origin (RTO) and improve sales by allowing customers to pay a portion upfront and the rest upon delivery. It offers advanced features such as COD rules based on order amount, location, customer, product, or discounts, making it suitable for merchants looking to enhance their COD strategy and offer flexible payment plans, particularly in markets where COD is prevalent.

Our Verdict
Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD is the clear choice for merchants who want to offer flexible payment options, specifically partial payments and advanced COD features. Its high rating and positive reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution. Merchants looking to reduce RTO and increase sales through these payment strategies should strongly consider Partialy.
IO Pay, while promising a simple and secure payment processing solution, lacks any user feedback and operates under the assumption of successful operation. Given its lack of reviews and ratings, and the availability of established payment gateways, it's difficult to recommend IO Pay until it demonstrates a proven track record. Merchants requiring basic credit card and PIX processing may be better served by well-established and reviewed payment gateways or waiting for IO Pay to build a reputation.
