iThink Logistics vs MyGLS Professionalfor Shopify (2026)
iThink Logistics and MyGLS Professional are both Shopify apps designed to streamline shipping, but they cater to distinct needs and markets. iThink Logistics positions itself as an all-encompassing shipping solution for e-commerce businesses, particularly those in India, emphasizing intelligent courier recommendations, automated solutions, and features like same-day delivery and branded tracking. They focus on reducing returns and boosting sales through advanced features and broad geographic coverage (29,000+ India pincodes, 180+ countries). They appear to handle multiple carriers. MyGLS Professional, on the other hand, is specifically designed for merchants utilizing GLS (General Logistics Systems) in Eastern Europe. Its primary value is unlimited GLS label printing and integration with GLS parcel shops and services, offering a comprehensive GLS-centric experience. The key difference lies in their scope and target customer. iThink Logistics targets a broader audience seeking a versatile shipping platform that recommends couriers and manages various aspects of the shipping process, while MyGLS Professional is tailored for merchants deeply integrated with GLS, especially in Eastern Europe, prioritizing seamless label creation and parcel shop integration. MyGLS Professional also seems to offer country-specific solutions, such as auto-filling Romanian zip codes. Therefore, a merchant's choice should be driven by their shipping provider preferences and geographical focus.

Our Verdict
For merchants shipping primarily within India and internationally, seeking a comprehensive solution that recommends couriers and offers features like branded tracking and NDR management, iThink Logistics is the better choice. Its strength lies in its versatility and focus on optimizing the entire shipping experience. However, merchants who exclusively use GLS for shipping within Eastern Europe will find MyGLS Professional to be significantly more valuable. Its unlimited label printing and parcel shop integration directly address the needs of GLS users, streamlining their workflow and eliminating label limitations. MyGLS Professional's high rating and review count also suggest strong user satisfaction within its niche.
Common Questions
Which app is better for international shipping?
iThink Logistics explicitly supports shipping to 180+ countries, making it the better option for businesses requiring international shipping capabilities beyond GLS's Eastern European network.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
While technically possible, using both apps would likely be redundant. iThink Logistics covers a broader scope, and if it supports GLS within its courier recommendations, MyGLS Professional might not be necessary unless unlimited GLS label printing is crucial.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
MyGLS Professional is likely easier to set up and use for merchants already familiar with and using GLS, as it directly integrates with their services. iThink Logistics, with its broader range of features and courier options, might require a steeper learning curve.
Does either app offer real-time shipping rates?
Neither app explicitly mentions real-time shipping rates in the provided descriptions. This would require further investigation.
Which app is more scalable for a rapidly growing business?
iThink Logistics' broader feature set and international support potentially make it more scalable for businesses with diverse shipping needs. However, if growth remains within the GLS Eastern European network, MyGLS Professional's unlimited label printing is highly scalable within that niche.
