Jataí Custom Order & Checkout vs MyGLS Professionalfor Shopify (2026)
Jataí Custom Order & Checkout and MyGLS Professional address entirely different aspects of Shopify order management. Jataí focuses on customizing order fields and checkout rules to reduce errors and streamline integrations with systems like ERP and logistics providers. Its core value proposition is increased efficiency through custom data capture and automated data handling, primarily appealing to merchants needing tailored order information. In contrast, MyGLS Professional offers a comprehensive solution for merchants using GLS (General Logistics Systems, particularly in Eastern Europe) for shipping. Its strengths lie in unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order status tracking, removing limitations on shipping volume and simplifying GLS logistics management. The primary divergence lies in their purpose: Jataí improves order data quality and integration capabilities, while MyGLS Professional optimizes GLS shipping workflows. Jataí's features target the creation of custom order fields for capturing specific data, implementing checkout rules to minimize errors, and facilitating seamless integration with external systems. MyGLS Professional's functionality centers on generating GLS shipping labels, integrating with parcel shops for convenient customer pickup options, and providing automated order tracking for enhanced visibility. Therefore, the best choice hinges on whether the merchant's priority is enhanced order data management or streamlined GLS shipping operations.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to capture custom order data, implement rules at checkout to minimize errors, and seamlessly integrate their store with ERP, Logistics, or Payment systems, Jataí Custom Order & Checkout is the better choice. The focus on custom fields and data integration streamlines internal processes and reduces manual corrections.
Conversely, MyGLS Professional is specifically designed for merchants utilizing GLS shipping services, particularly those operating in Eastern Europe. Its value lies in removing limitations on label printing, simplifying parcel shop integration for customer convenience, and automating order status tracking. If GLS shipping is a core component of a merchant's fulfillment strategy, MyGLS Professional provides a comprehensive and valuable solution. Given the higher review count and perfect rating, MyGLS Professional might indicate wider adoption and satisfaction for its specific GLS-focused functionality.
