Our Verdict
Selling Point is the clear choice for merchants seeking to migrate existing gift card or store credit balances into their Shopify store. Its 5-star rating with 45 reviews suggests a proven track record of success and ease of use in its core function. The app directly addresses a specific pain point – the difficulty of manually migrating large volumes of gift card data – and offers a solution to quickly and affordably transfer that data to Shopify. Due to the complete lack of ratings and reviews for JD Store Credits Extra, it's impossible to assess its reliability or feature set, making it a significantly riskier choice, especially given the sensitive nature of financial data like gift card balances. Unless there's specific evidence to suggest otherwise, Selling Point is the recommended app for businesses needing to import or migrate existing gift cards or store credits.
