Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer vs Razorpay COD & Magic Checkoutfor Shopify (2026)
Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer and Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout both aim to improve the checkout experience on Shopify stores, but they approach the problem from different angles and cater to different merchant needs. Kaching focuses on boosting Average Order Value (AOV) within the cart itself through upselling and urgency tactics. Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout, on the other hand, concentrates on optimizing the entire checkout process to increase conversions and reduce Return to Origin (RTO), especially for merchants dealing with Cash on Delivery (COD). Kaching aims to increase AOV by providing a customizable slide-out cart with features such as upsell sliders, gift wrap toggles, urgency timers, and free shipping bars. These elements are designed to encourage customers to add more items to their cart before proceeding to checkout. Razorpay Magic Checkout targets conversion optimization and fraud prevention. It utilizes AI to auto-fill information, suggests payment methods, dynamically enables COD based on risk, and offers customizable checkout branding. Kaching is appealing to merchants looking to immediately increase AOV with ease of customization and no coding required. Razorpay Magic Checkout is tailored for merchants concerned with checkout abandonment, RTO, and COD management, potentially needing a bit more setup but offering more sophisticated risk management.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on quickly and easily boosting AOV through cart-based upsells and incentives, Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer is the stronger choice. Its ease of use and focus on cart customization make it a good fit for stores looking to maximize revenue from existing traffic. However, for merchants heavily reliant on COD payments, especially those in regions with high RTO rates, Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout offers a more comprehensive solution. While its lower rating and fewer reviews suggest it may be newer or require more active configuration, its AI-powered risk detection and COD management features provide significant value in mitigating potential losses and optimizing the checkout experience.
