Our Verdict
Live Chat by Combidesk, with its stated focus on boosting conversion rates and providing quick personal service, appears better suited for merchants prioritizing immediate customer support on their website and wanting to proactively address customer inquiries during the shopping experience. The display of products in the basket offers a clear advantage for upselling and resolving cart-related issues in real-time. Kanal, with its WhatsApp focus, likely targets merchants aiming for a broader, perhaps more personalized, marketing approach beyond on-site assistance, leveraging the popularity of WhatsApp for direct customer engagement and potentially marketing campaigns.
