Kanal: WhatsApp Marketing+Chat vs LiveSupporti ‑ Live Chatfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Kanal: WhatsApp Marketing+Chat and LiveSupporti ‑ Live Chat both serve the Chat category on Shopify, but they seem to target different needs and business sizes. Kanal: WhatsApp Marketing+Chat, with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 37 reviews, appears to be a strong choice for merchants looking to leverage WhatsApp for both customer support and marketing automation. Its focus extends beyond basic live chat, encompassing broader communication strategies. LiveSupporti ‑ Live Chat, on the other hand, has a 4.2/5 rating with only 5 reviews. This suggests it might be a simpler solution, more focused on traditional live chat support. It could be preferred by smaller businesses or those prioritizing immediate customer service responses over proactive marketing campaigns. The limited number of reviews indicates a potentially smaller user base or a newer entry into the market, making its long-term reliability and feature set less certain compared to Kanal. The key difference lies in their scope: Kanal leans towards a combined marketing and support solution using WhatsApp, while LiveSupporti likely offers a more basic live chat experience focused purely on customer support interactions. The difference in review count also is a large indicator of experience that other merchants have had with these apps.

Our Verdict
If your business strategy heavily incorporates WhatsApp for customer interaction and marketing, Kanal: WhatsApp Marketing+Chat is the clear choice. Its higher rating and significantly more reviews indicate a more proven track record and a wider range of features to enhance customer engagement. It is geared towards merchants who view WhatsApp as a central hub for communications.
However, if you need a straightforward, no-frills live chat solution primarily for immediate customer support on your website, LiveSupporti ‑ Live Chat might suffice, especially for smaller businesses with limited resources. But, merchants should consider the low review count which might indicate a lack of maturity, more bugs, or a smaller community to support it.
