Kanal: WhatsApp Marketing+Chat vs Re:amaze AI Helpdesk & Chatfor Shopify (2026)
Kanal: WhatsApp Marketing+Chat and Re:amaze AI Helpdesk & Chat offer distinct approaches to customer communication for Shopify merchants in 2026. Kanal, with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 37 reviews, positions itself as a focused WhatsApp marketing and chat solution, potentially ideal for merchants heavily reliant on WhatsApp for customer engagement. Re:amaze, rated 4.4/5 with a significantly larger review base of 175, is a comprehensive AI-powered helpdesk aiming to unify communication across multiple channels, including email, live chat, social media, SMS, and voice. The core difference lies in their scope. Kanal seems specialized for WhatsApp interactions, while Re:amaze offers a broader omnichannel support solution. Re:amaze emphasizes its AI capabilities to automate responses, build chatbots, summarize conversations, and create FAQs, suggesting it targets merchants seeking to optimize support efficiency through automation. Furthermore, Re:amaze allows order management directly within the support interface, a feature that Kanal's description doesn't mention, hinting at a closer integration with backend operations. Kanal's focus on WhatsApp might translate to a simpler setup and learning curve for merchants already committed to that platform. Its ability to manage communication across multiple channels, automate tasks, and integrate directly with Shopify orders makes it a more robust solution for businesses seeking to scale their customer support operations efficiently.
