Keeping ‑ Helpdesk for Gmail vs Kustomerfor Shopify (2026)
Keeping ‑ Helpdesk for Gmail and Kustomer are both Helpdesk apps available on the Shopify app store, each aiming to improve customer support. However, their positioning and features suggest distinct target audiences. Keeping ‑ Helpdesk for Gmail, with only one review, is an unknown quantity at this point. Kustomer, on the other hand, positions itself as an AI-powered CRM solution designed to revolutionize customer support by providing a holistic view of customer data and streamlined cross-channel interactions. Kustomer's focus is on providing a comprehensive CRM experience with features like direct order management from the timeline, dynamic message customization, and automated updates via chatbot templates. This suggests it's targeted towards merchants who need a more robust customer management solution than a basic helpdesk. The lack of information about Keeping makes it difficult to determine its strengths or specific features, but given its name, it likely integrates tightly with Gmail, which might be appealing to simpler operations.

Our Verdict
Given the limited information on Keeping ‑ Helpdesk for Gmail, it's difficult to provide a strong recommendation. However, Kustomer is clearly geared towards larger Shopify merchants who require a comprehensive CRM system with advanced features like AI-powered support, direct order management, and a holistic customer view. If a merchant's support needs are relatively simple and they're heavily reliant on Gmail, Keeping might be worth exploring further *if* more information becomes available and positive reviews accumulate. Otherwise, Kustomer provides a significantly more robust and feature-rich solution for managing customer interactions and improving support efficiency.
Without further reviews or feature information on Keeping, Kustomer appears to be the better choice for businesses serious about scaling their customer support and leveraging AI to improve the customer experience.
