Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a complete, self-contained affiliate program solution with built-in management features and strong emphasis on ease of use, Kickbooster Affiliate Programs is the better choice. Its automated features, customizable commissions, and in-Shopify management make it ideal for businesses wanting full control over their affiliate programs. However, merchants already committed to the Rakuten Advertising platform and needing only a streamlined tracking integration should opt for Rakuten Affiliate Tracking. It simplifies the initial setup process and connects their Shopify store to their existing RAd campaigns. Rakuten Affiliate Tracking is best when you do *not* want to manage the entire affiliate process yourself within Shopify, but rather offload much of it to Rakuten.
