Klarna vs Layaway Control Panelfor Shopify (2026)

Our Verdict
Given the limited information, Layaway Control Panel seems the safer choice for merchants specifically needing layaway functionality and prioritizing customer satisfaction based on its significantly higher rating and more numerous reviews. Klarna's extremely low rating raises serious concerns, and despite its claims of easy integration and global reach, the current feedback suggests a potentially problematic implementation. Only merchants desperate for Klarna's specific payment offerings (pay later, financing) and willing to accept the risk of potential integration issues or poor customer experience should consider it, and even then, thorough due diligence is crucial.
