KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight vs XO Scroll to Topfor Shopify (2026)
KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight and XO Scroll to Top, while both falling under the broader 'Search and Navigation' and 'Navigation and Menus' categories on the Shopify app store, serve fundamentally different purposes and cater to distinct merchant needs. KOBU aims to enhance visual navigation and product discovery by creating eye-catching, easily accessible menus resembling social media stories, focusing on improved conversion rates and reduced bounce rates, particularly for merchants with visually driven products or large catalogs. XO Scroll to Top, on the other hand, addresses usability and user experience on long-form pages by providing a quick and easy 'scroll to top' button, primarily benefiting stores with extensive product descriptions, blog content, or lengthy page layouts. XO Scroll to Top focuses on simplicity and convenience, providing a readily available utility feature that allows users to quickly navigate back to the top of a page, without requiring coding knowledge. The choice between the two hinges on whether a merchant requires a front-end visual navigation enhancement or a back-end usability improvement.
