Link Shortener ‑ Pasilobus vs Scrollio: Infinite Scrollfor Shopify (2026)
Link Shortener - Pasilobus and Scrollio: Infinite Scroll represent two very different approaches to improving the Shopify customer experience in 2026. Pasilobus focuses on optimizing off-site marketing efforts by providing branded short links and real-time analytics to track link performance, primarily targeting merchants focused on driving external traffic to their stores. Conversely, Scrollio aims to enhance the on-site browsing experience by implementing infinite scroll or a customizable 'Load More' button, catering to merchants looking to improve product discovery and engagement within their existing store design. While both apps fall under the broad category of 'Search and navigation', their functionalities are distinct. Pasilobus is about improving marketing campaign effectiveness and brand consistency through controlled and trackable URLs. Scrollio is designed to increase on-site user engagement and potentially boost sales by streamlining product browsing. The choice between the two depends entirely on the merchant's priorities: external marketing optimization versus internal browsing enhancements.

Our Verdict
For merchants running extensive marketing campaigns, needing to track their performance, and wanting branded short URLs, Link Shortener - Pasilobus is the clear choice, despite the limited review count. Its features are specifically designed for that purpose. However, merchants looking to improve the on-site shopping experience, boost product visibility, and reduce friction in the browsing process should choose Scrollio: Infinite Scroll. Its higher review count and specific focus on infinite scroll functionality makes it a reliable option for enhancing on-site engagement.
Given the limited number of reviews for Pasilobus, it's advisable to thoroughly test the app before committing, especially if reliable link tracking and reporting are critical for your business. Scrollio presents a safer bet due to the larger number of positive reviews, indicating a more established and potentially less buggy application. Ultimately, the 'better' app depends entirely on the specific needs of the Shopify store and its marketing strategy.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim simple setup, but Scrollio specifically highlights "Simple install and setup", which might give it a slight edge. Pasilobus's ease of use depends on the intuitiveness of its integrated dashboard.
Which app provides better data analytics?
Pasilobus explicitly offers 'Real-Time Analytics' covering clicks and engagement. Scrollio doesn't mention analytics beyond implicit tracking of user scrolling behavior. Therefore, Pasilobus offers superior analytics.
Can both apps be used together on the same Shopify store?
Yes, technically they can coexist. Pasilobus enhances off-site marketing, while Scrollio improves on-site browsing. They address different aspects of the customer journey.
Which app is more likely to impact my store's SEO?
Scrollio's implementation of infinite scroll could potentially affect SEO, either positively or negatively, depending on its implementation and how search engines crawl the site. Pasilobus is less likely to have a direct impact on SEO, although optimized short links *could* contribute indirectly.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to say definitively. The value depends on the cost versus the benefits each app provides to the specific business. If you highly value link tracking and branding, Pasilobus might be worth a premium. If you prioritize improving on-site browsing, Scrollio might offer better value.
