In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Linkie URL Shortener and PicAmaze Animate Images, Gifs face a clear decision. Our Verdict
Based on available data, PicAmaze Animate Images, Gifs seems to be the significantly better option for merchants seeking to enhance their product visuals. Its high rating, emphasis on ease of use, and optimized animation features make it a compelling choice. While Linkie URL Shortener addresses a different need, its extremely low rating and minimal reviews raise serious concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. Unless a merchant specifically requires URL shortening and is willing to take a risk on a poorly reviewed app, PicAmaze appears to be the safer and potentially more valuable investment. Linkie might be considered if URL shortening is an absolute priority and free options aren't sufficient, but due diligence and cautious testing would be critical.
Merchants should seek other URL shortening apps until Linkie's rating increases and review count is higher. PicAmaze should be further tested to see if the app still holds up to it's current rating.
