Linkie URL Shortener vs Popsixle ‑ Ad Tracking Pixelfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Linkie URL Shortener and Popsixle ‑ Ad Tracking Pixel face a clear choice based on differing needs and the available data. Linkie URL Shortener aims to provide URL shortening capabilities, presumably for marketing or tracking purposes. However, its low rating (2.1/5) and limited number of reviews (2) suggest potential issues with usability, features, or customer support. On the other hand, Popsixle ‑ Ad Tracking Pixel is focused on providing ad tracking functionality. Its perfect rating (5/5) based on a significantly larger number of reviews (15) indicates a strong positive user experience and effective tracking capabilities. The core difference lies in the functionality provided: one shortens URLs, the other tracks ad performance. The category they share, 'Advertising - Other', is quite broad, so the apps likely address different aspects of advertising within that category. Given their distinct functionalities and vastly different user ratings, merchants should clearly identify their primary needs before making a choice. One assists in managing URLs, while the other measures ad effectiveness.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily invested in paid advertising and needing robust tracking of their campaigns, Popsixle ‑ Ad Tracking Pixel appears to be the far superior choice. The high rating and significant number of positive reviews suggest a reliable and effective tool.
Linkie URL Shortener, with its low rating and few reviews, is difficult to recommend based on the available data. Unless a merchant has a very specific and basic need for URL shortening and is willing to take a risk on an app with questionable performance, other alternatives should be considered. It's important to investigate further reviews before installing Linkie URL Shortener. Perhaps there's an issue of bad bots or malicious reviews impacting the rating.
