LitPDP ‑ Print as PDF vs Smart Size Chart & Size Guidefor Shopify (2026)
LitPDP ‑ Print as PDF and Smart Size Chart & Size Guide both aim to improve the product display category in Shopify, but they address fundamentally different problems. LitPDP focuses on providing comprehensive product information via downloadable PDFs, targeting merchants who sell complex or technical products requiring detailed specifications. Its strength lies in automating the creation and distribution of these datasheets, aiming to reduce pre-sales questions and returns stemming from unclear product information. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide, on the other hand, caters to merchants selling apparel, footwear, or jewelry. Its core function is to help customers find the right size, reducing returns and increasing sales by providing visually appealing and customizable size charts. The primary difference lies in the type of information being conveyed. LitPDP provides detailed specifications, materials, and other technical data, while Smart Size Chart offers size-related information. Consequently, their target audiences are distinct. LitPDP is ideal for businesses selling electronics, machinery, or any product where technical specifications are crucial. Smart Size Chart is tailored for the fashion industry where sizing is a critical factor in the purchase decision. Both apps claim to reduce returns and increase sales, but they achieve this through different means: LitPDP by clarifying product details, and Smart Size Chart by improving size selection.
