Live Preview Options by Webyze vs Smart Size Chart & Size Guidefor Shopify (2026)
Live Preview Options by Webyze and Smart Size Chart & Size Guide both aim to enhance the product presentation and customization options on Shopify stores but cater to distinctly different needs. Live Preview Options focuses on enabling deep product customization, allowing merchants to add unlimited custom fields like swatches, text inputs, and file uploads, along with a live preview of the customized product. It targets merchants selling highly customizable products, such as personalized apparel, engraved items, or configurable electronics. In contrast, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide addresses the problem of sizing uncertainty in apparel, footwear, and other size-sensitive products. It allows merchants to create visually appealing and brand-aligned size charts to reduce returns and improve customer satisfaction. While both apps can technically be categorized under 'Custom products' and 'Product variants', their core functionality and target audience differ significantly. Live Preview Options is technically oriented, offering conditional logic and price adjustments based on user selections. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is more design and UX focused, providing customizable templates and multi-language support to enhance the shopping experience. Choosing between the two depends on whether the primary need is to offer extensive product customization with visual feedback or to provide clear and accessible sizing information.
