Locate2u Route & Delivery vs MyGLS Professionalfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Locate2u Route & Delivery and MyGLS Professional face a trade-off between route optimization and GLS shipping automation. Locate2u, with a 4.5-star rating based on 5 reviews, likely targets merchants needing route planning and delivery management, though limited information hinders a full assessment. In contrast, MyGLS Professional, boasting a perfect 5-star rating from 123 reviews, focuses on providing a comprehensive solution for merchants using GLS (General Logistics Systems), especially in Eastern Europe. MyGLS Professional distinguishes itself with unlimited GLS label printing, parcel shop integration (including a cart page map and checkout integration), automated order status tracking, and country-specific solutions like autofilling Romanian zip codes. Its primary strength lies in streamlining GLS shipping workflows and removing limitations for high-volume shippers. Locate2u's lack of detailed feature information makes direct comparison difficult, but it's probable strength would be in optimizing delivery routes rather than shipping carrier integration.

Our Verdict
MyGLS Professional is the clear choice for Shopify merchants who heavily rely on GLS shipping, particularly within Eastern Europe, and need unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated tracking. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews reinforce its reliability. Locate2u Route & Delivery could be a better option for merchants who prioritize route optimization and delivery management, *if* its feature set supports that need. However, the lack of information and limited reviews make it a riskier choice without further research.
Given the data, MyGLS Professional is the safer and potentially more powerful choice for businesses focused on leveraging GLS's network. Merchants needing broader delivery route planning should investigate Locate2u further to confirm if its functionality meets their requirements.
Common Questions
Does Locate2u Route & Delivery integrate with GLS?
The information provided does not indicate whether Locate2u Route & Delivery integrates with GLS. More information is needed to determine if this integration is possible.
Which app offers unlimited label printing?
MyGLS Professional explicitly offers unlimited GLS label printing with an active subscription.
Which app is better for merchants outside of Eastern Europe?
If relying heavily on GLS, MyGLS Professional's core functionality should still be valuable, although its country-specific features may be less relevant. Locate2u Route & Delivery *might* be better if GLS is not the primary carrier and route optimization is the main need. The lack of details on locate2u makes this uncertain.
How does MyGLS Professional handle COD (Cash on Delivery) fees?
MyGLS Professional description states that it provides 'additional built-in COD fee handling'.
Which app has a higher user satisfaction rate?
While MyGLS Professional has a perfect 5/5 rating compared to Locate2u's 4.5/5, the much larger number of reviews (123 vs. 5) for MyGLS Professional makes its rating more statistically significant and indicative of wider user satisfaction.
