Lookfy Lookbook: Image Gallery vs Sherpas: Smart SEOfor Shopify (2026)
Lookfy Lookbook: Image Gallery and Sherpas: Smart SEO are both Shopify apps aiming to improve merchants' stores, but they target fundamentally different aspects. Lookfy focuses on enhancing visual merchandising and the customer shopping experience through captivating image and video galleries. It enables merchants to create visually appealing lookbooks and shoppable images with product hotspots, aiming to increase engagement and sales through better product presentation. Sherpas, on the other hand, prioritizes improving a store's search engine optimization (SEO) to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. Sherpas Smart SEO leverages AI (ChatGPT-4 Turbo) and automation to tackle core SEO elements like meta tags, image optimization, page speed, structured data, and broken link management. This app aims to make complex SEO tasks more accessible, allowing merchants to improve their store's visibility in search results. While both apps fall under the 'Images and media' category due to the 'Image Optimization' feature in Sherpas, they cater to different priorities: visual presentation versus search engine visibility. The choice between them depends on whether a merchant's immediate need is to enhance the shopping experience through visual content or to improve organic search performance.
