Our Verdict
The choice between Loopz Gift Cards and Selling Point depends entirely on the merchant's current situation. If a merchant is primarily looking to establish or enhance their gift card program within Shopify – offering customizable designs, selling gift cards, and managing store credit – Loopz Gift Cards is the better option. However, if a merchant is migrating to Shopify from another platform (POS system or website) and has an existing liability in the form of outstanding gift card balances or store credits, Selling Point is the clearly superior choice, simplifying the migration process and preventing loss of value for existing customers. Selling Point isn't designed for actively selling new gift cards.
