Magical Make an Offer vs Wholesale Pricing Discount B2Bfor Shopify (2026)
Magical Make an Offer and Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B both address pricing strategies on Shopify, but cater to distinct business models. Magical Make an Offer focuses on individual negotiation, allowing customers to propose their own prices through a 'Make an Offer' system. This suits businesses looking to increase sales through flexible pricing on a product-by-product or order-by-order basis, particularly those selling unique or negotiable items. It emphasizes features like automatic negotiation rules and built-in analytics for offer tracking. Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B, on the other hand, targets businesses engaging in wholesale commerce. It provides tools for setting up wholesale pricing structures, including tiered discounts, custom pricing, and quantity breaks, while maintaining retail pricing integrity. The app supports B2B operations with features like wholesale registration forms, net payment terms, and international sales capabilities. It also offers integrations with Shopify POS and other B2B tools. This app is designed for merchants managing both retail and wholesale channels or exclusively selling wholesale. While both apps share the 'Pricing' and 'Pricing quotes' categories on Shopify, their core functionalities and target audiences are vastly different. One promotes individual negotiation, the other focuses on structured wholesale pricing.

Our Verdict
If you're primarily focused on retail sales and want to experiment with flexible pricing by allowing customers to 'make an offer', Magical Make an Offer is the better choice. Its features are geared towards individual product negotiation and increasing conversion rates through personalized offers. The relatively lower number of reviews should be taken into consideration, but the strong rating suggests a positive user experience.
However, if your business involves wholesale or B2B transactions, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B is the clear winner. It provides the necessary tools to manage wholesale pricing structures, customer registration, and international sales, catering specifically to the needs of wholesale businesses. The higher number of reviews also suggests a more established user base and potentially greater reliability for complex B2B operations.
Common Questions
Can I use both apps together?
While technically possible, it's generally not recommended. They address different pricing models, and running both simultaneously could create confusion for customers and complicate your pricing strategy. Choose the app that best aligns with your primary business model (retail with negotiation vs. wholesale).
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Magical Make an Offer might be simpler to set up initially, as it focuses on individual product offers. Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B likely requires more configuration to define wholesale pricing rules and manage B2B customer accounts, though this depends on specific business needs.
Does Magical Make an Offer support wholesale pricing?
While Magical Make an Offer allows customers to make offers on multiple items, it lacks dedicated wholesale features like tiered pricing or B2B customer management. It is not designed for systematic wholesale pricing.
Which app integrates with Shopify POS?
Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B explicitly states integration with Shopify POS, allowing you to offer wholesale prices in-store. Magical Make an Offer does not mention POS integration.
Can I offer 'net terms' with Magical Make an Offer?
Magical Make an Offer does not mention support for 'net terms' (delayed payment options), a common feature for B2B sales. Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B lists 'net terms' as a key B2B operation feature.
