Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving their store's SEO and making sure Google can easily crawl their website, Magical XML/HTML Sitemap is the clear choice. Its focus is squarely on sitemaps and their integration with search engines. However, for stores with extensive product lines or specific customer needs that require robust filtering and search capabilities, Smart Product Filter & Search offers a more comprehensive solution. It's a better investment for enhancing the on-site customer experience and driving sales within your Shopify store. If the objective is internal sales, the filtering and smart search should be considered the better app.
