Our Verdict
Given the available data in 2026, Search & Discovery ‑ Visely presents itself as the more reliable and feature-rich option. Its positive user reviews and extensive customization options make it suitable for merchants with diverse catalogs or specific requirements for search functionality. Its focus on catalog syncing is useful for stores with quickly changing inventories. Makaira Connect, while promising a simpler setup, lacks user validation and depth of features. It *might* be appropriate for very small stores or merchants who value ease of installation above all else and are willing to take a chance on an untested app. However, the absence of reviews makes it a risky choice compared to the well-regarded Visely.
