Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts and Quick Quote cater to fundamentally different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the 'Pricing' category. Mercado Pago Ordena focuses on optimizing the checkout process specifically for merchants who want to prioritize Mercado Pago as a payment option. It's positioning itself as a way to increase reach and sales approval rates by ensuring Mercado Pago is prominently displayed. Its primary strength lies in potentially boosting conversions for businesses already utilizing Mercado Pago and targeting that payment platform's users. Quick Quote, on the other hand, is designed for businesses that offer customized pricing or require a quote process due to the complexity or variability of their products. It streamlines the quote request process by allowing customers to submit quote requests directly from their cart. The app’s strength is in providing a built-in communication and management system for handling these quote requests, including email notifications and tracking. This is suited for businesses that thrive on personalized customer interactions and custom pricing. Choosing between the two depends heavily on the business model. If a merchant is seeking to increase Mercado Pago usage and optimization within the checkout flow, Mercado Pago Ordena is the correct choice. However, if a business relies on custom quotes and negotiation with customers to secure deals, Quick Quote is the appropriate option to streamline this aspect of their business.

Our Verdict
Quick Quote appears to be the stronger app due to significantly more positive reviews, suggesting wider adoption and satisfaction among its users. The value proposition is also more broadly applicable to merchants offering custom products or services. Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts is too niche and only benefits merchants actively using Mercado Pago and experiencing challenges with checkout conversion related to payment method selection. For most Shopify stores seeking to improve pricing-related processes, Quick Quote is the better choice. For stores that already rely on Mercado Pago, testing Mercado Pago Ordena could be a worthwhile experiment to optimize checkout conversions related to that specific payment method.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts likely has a simpler setup as it focuses on reordering checkout options. Quick Quote may require more initial configuration of quote submission forms and email notifications.
Does Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts offer any functionality besides prioritizing payment methods?
The description only explicitly mentions prioritizing payment methods. It allows you to control the order in which payment providers are displayed, but that appears to be the extent of its functionality as described.
Is Quick Quote suitable for all product types?
Quick Quote is best suited for products with variable pricing, custom configurations, or where negotiation is common. It may be less useful for standardized products with fixed prices.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, the apps address completely different areas of concern in your store. While they can be used simultaneously, they are unrelated to each other. It is therefore highly unlikely you would need to install both.
Which app is more likely to increase my overall sales?
Quick Quote has the potential to increase sales for businesses that rely on custom quotes by streamlining the process and improving customer communication. Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts might incrementally improve sales for merchants specifically targeting Mercado Pago users, but its impact is likely smaller and more targeted.
