Our Verdict
MyGLS Professional is the clear choice for merchants heavily reliant on GLS for their shipping needs, particularly within Eastern Europe. Its high rating and numerous reviews indicate strong user satisfaction with its comprehensive shipping features, including unlimited label printing and parcel shop integration. MetaTrack ‑ PayPal Track Sync is more suitable for merchants specifically struggling with PayPal account reserves and chargebacks. However, the low rating and limited number of reviews suggest potential issues or a lack of widespread adoption, warranting careful consideration and potentially exploring alternative solutions for PayPal-related challenges before committing to MetaTrack. Given the available data, MyGLS Professional appears to be the more reliable and well-regarded option for its target audience.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
MetaTrack is likely easier to use, given its singular focus on automating PayPal tracking synchronization. MyGLS Professional, with its broader range of shipping-related features, probably has a steeper learning curve.
Which app offers a free trial?
The provided information does not specify whether either app offers a free trial.
If I don't use GLS for shipping, is MyGLS Professional useful?
No, MyGLS Professional is specifically designed for GLS shipping and offers features tailored to that service. It would be irrelevant if you don't use GLS.
Will MetaTrack guarantee that PayPal will release my funds faster?
MetaTrack aims to *reduce* the risk of fund holds by syncing tracking information. However, it cannot guarantee faster fund release, as PayPal's decisions are based on their own risk assessment algorithms.
Which app is more cost-effective?
The cost-effectiveness depends on your specific needs. If you're frequently held back by PayPal reserves, MetaTrack might be worth the investment (if it works as intended). If you ship frequently with GLS and require unlimited labels, MyGLS Professional's subscription could save you money compared to alternative solutions.
