Microsoft Shopping Feed vs Reputon eBay Importerfor Shopify (2026)
Microsoft Shopping Feed and Reputon eBay Importer are two distinct Shopify apps targeting different merchant needs. The app targets merchants seeking to leverage Microsoft's advertising platform for increased visibility and sales. Reputon eBay Importer, on the other hand, focuses on streamlining product sourcing and management for merchants who dropship or run affiliate stores. It allows users to import products from eBay, including photos, variants, and real-time price/stock availability synchronization. Its target audience is merchants who rely on eBay as a source of products for their Shopify stores, seeking automation and efficiency in their product sourcing and listing process. Common Questions
Which app helps me sell more?
Microsoft Shopping Feed helps increase sales by advertising your products on Microsoft Shopping Ads, while Reputon eBay Importer focuses on product sourcing, not direct sales increases.
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps are described as easy to set up, but Microsoft Shopping Feed requires connecting a Microsoft Ads account, potentially adding complexity if the merchant is new to the platform. Reputon eBay Importer focuses more on importing products with fewer potential complications.
Which app is better for a large product catalog?
Microsoft Shopping Feed explicitly states there are no catalog size limits, making it well-suited for large product inventories. Reputon eBay Importer does not specify catalog limits, but its focus is more on importing specific listings, potentially making it less ideal for managing extremely large, complex catalogs.
Can I use both apps together?
Yes, it's technically possible to use both. You could use Reputon eBay Importer to source products from eBay and then use Microsoft Shopping Feed to advertise those products on Microsoft Shopping. However, this is only relevant if sourcing from eBay and selling on Microsoft Shopping aligns with your business model.
Which app has better customer support?
Microsoft Shopping Feed highlights its 'real customer service' from a dedicated support team of Microsoft Ads experts. Reputon eBay Importer does not make a specific claim about its customer support, making Microsoft Shopping Feed potentially stronger in this area.
