MIT Request Quote & Hide Price vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)

MIT Request Quote & Hide Price focuses on hiding prices and generating quotation inquiries *before* the cart stage, positioning itself as a lead generation tool. It allows merchants to hide prices on specific products, collections, or the entire store and replace them with custom text or links, such as phone numbers or WhatsApp chat links, to encourage direct contact. This app is geared towards businesses that prefer direct communication and custom pricing strategies based on location or specific items. Quick Quote, on the other hand, integrates with the existing Shopify cart system, allowing customers to request quotes *from* their cart. It streamlines the quote process from cart to checkout, enabling merchants to offer discounts and manage quotes within the app, with email notifications and a built-in quote management system. Quick Quote seems geared towards merchants with existing cart flows that need a more robust quoting system at the end of the customer journey, and who are comfortable managing discounts within a structured quoting process. MIT Request Quote & Hide Price, based on its description, might be beneficial for stores that deal with very customized products or that primarily generate leads for later conversion through human interaction, such as higher-value products, business services, or complex made-to-order goods where initial price transparency is less critical than acquiring the lead. The lack of ratings and reviews for MIT Request Quote & Hide Price, however, is a significant concern.
