Our Verdict
If you're already selling products on Shopify and want to leverage Google Shopping, MP Google Shopping Feed is the clear choice. Its focus on feed optimization and data management helps ensure your products are effectively advertised on Google. The app's features help increase approval rates and return on ad spend.
However, if you're building a store through dropshipping or affiliate marketing and source products primarily from eBay, Reputon eBay Importer is more appropriate. The app's eBay-specific import functionality, automated price and stock syncing, and bulk import capabilities significantly streamline the process of adding products to your store.
Common Questions
Which app is better for driving traffic to my Shopify store?
MP Google Shopping Feed is designed to drive traffic from Google Shopping to your Shopify store by optimizing your product feed and improving ad visibility. Reputon eBay Importer helps build your store catalog, not directly drive traffic.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it's unlikely. Reputon eBay Importer's primary use case is to import products *into* your Shopify store. Once imported, you *could* then use MP Google Shopping Feed to advertise those products on Google Shopping.
Does MP Google Shopping Feed support multiple Google Merchant Center accounts?
The description does not explicitly state this, but the focus on 'feed management' suggests it *may* support multiple accounts. Further research within the app's help documentation would be needed.
How does Reputon eBay Importer handle product variations?
The description explicitly mentions importing 'all product variants like size, color' from eBay listings.
Is there a free trial available for either app?
The provided data does not indicate the presence of a free trial for either application. Merchants should check the Shopify App Store listing for current trial availability.
