MultiRoute vs Selling Pointfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between MultiRoute and Selling Point will face two very different apps. MultiRoute focuses on streamlining the checkout process for customers who want to ship to multiple addresses within a single order. It aims to improve customer satisfaction and order management by removing the need for multiple transactions. Selling Point, on the other hand, concentrates on the efficient migration of gift cards and store credits from other platforms (like POS systems or websites) into Shopify. It solves the problem of manual gift card transfer or custom development for migration, saving merchants time and money. The primary difference lies in their functionality and target users. MultiRoute is for merchants who want to offer enhanced shipping options and appeal to gift-givers or customers with multiple recipients. Selling Point targets merchants migrating to Shopify or consolidating their gift card/store credit systems. A significant consideration is the stark difference in social proof: Selling Point boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 45 reviews, suggesting reliability and user satisfaction, while MultiRoute has no reviews, making its claims of ease of use and seamless integration difficult to verify. The maturity and user validation of the two apps are vastly different.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to quickly and easily migrate existing gift cards and store credits to Shopify from another platform, Selling Point is the clear choice. Its established track record, high rating, and numerous positive reviews provide strong evidence of its reliability and effectiveness. It's a solution for operational efficiency.
MultiRoute, while potentially valuable for enhancing the customer experience with multi-address shipping, carries a significant risk due to the complete lack of reviews. Merchants considering MultiRoute should proceed with caution and ideally test it thoroughly before committing to it, or wait for user reviews to emerge. It might suit those focused on gifting but the lack of reviews makes it hard to recommend without proof.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Selling Point claims to migrate gift cards in minutes, which suggests a straightforward setup. MultiRoute describes 'seamless integration', but without reviews, it's impossible to confirm the setup process's ease.
Which app has better customer support?
It's impossible to definitively determine which app has better customer support based on the provided data. The existence of user reviews for Selling Point *may* indicate a more responsive support system, but this is speculative.
If my priority is to offer a better gift-giving experience, which app is better?
MultiRoute aims to directly improve the gift-giving experience by allowing shipping to multiple addresses from one cart. While Selling Point facilitates managing gift cards which indirectly relates, MultiRoute is the more direct approach. However, proceed with caution because of lack of user reviews.
Which app is more established?
Selling Point is far more established, evidenced by its 45 reviews and a 5/5 rating, suggesting a longer presence and user base. MultiRoute is likely a newer app with no user validation.
Which app is more likely to improve my store's conversion rate?
Both apps *could* improve conversion, but in different ways. MultiRoute might increase conversions by simplifying the checkout process for customers buying gifts for multiple recipients. Selling Point could boost conversions by making it easier for customers to redeem gift cards and store credits, particularly during migration. However, given the existing user feedback, Selling Point is more *likely* to do so.
