MyGLS Professional vs Official TCS Courier Appfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and the Official TCS Courier App cater to vastly different segments of the Shopify shipping app market. MyGLS Professional, with its exceptionally high rating and numerous positive reviews, positions itself as a comprehensive, third-party solution for merchants using GLS, specifically in Eastern Europe. It emphasizes unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order tracking, targeting merchants who need robust features and handle significant GLS shipping volumes. The Official TCS Courier App, on the other hand, focuses on simplifying shipment creation and tracking for merchants using TCS Courier, particularly those processing 20-30 orders daily. However, its very low rating and limited number of reviews raise concerns about its overall usability and effectiveness. The core difference lies in the courier supported, geographic focus, feature breadth, and user satisfaction. MyGLS Professional seems designed for a specific region and courier, offering an all-in-one solution. The Official TCS Courier App offers basic shipment creation and tracking for TCS Courier clients, possibly lacking more advanced features present in MyGLS Professional. The significantly contrasting user reviews further highlight the discrepancy in app performance and user experience. Ultimately, the choice heavily depends on which courier service a merchant relies on and whether they require a basic or comprehensive solution.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily using GLS in Eastern Europe and requiring unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order tracking, MyGLS Professional is the clear choice. Its overwhelmingly positive reviews and comprehensive feature set suggest a reliable and effective solution. The Official TCS Courier App might be suitable for merchants specifically using TCS Courier who are looking for basic shipment creation and tracking. However, its significantly lower rating and limited number of reviews raise serious concerns about its usability and overall performance. Merchants considering the Official TCS Courier App should proceed with caution and thoroughly investigate the app's functionality before committing to it.
