MyGLS Professional vs Omniva shippingfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and Omniva shipping are both Shopify apps in the 'Shipping' category, but cater to significantly different needs and operate at vastly different quality levels based on user feedback. MyGLS Professional focuses on businesses using GLS, specifically within Eastern Europe, providing comprehensive solutions like unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, COD fee handling, and order tracking. It positions itself as an all-in-one solution for GLS clients, emphasizing convenience and efficiency in their shipping process. On the other hand, Omniva shipping is designed as a more general shipping solution, focusing on order tracking, label printing, manifest generation, and warehouse management. However, it appears to suffer from significant usability or reliability issues, evidenced by its extremely low rating. While it aims to provide a streamlined fulfillment process, the negative reviews suggest it might not deliver on its promises. The feature list is comparatively short and lacks the specialized integration offered by MyGLS Professional. Therefore, it is targeting merchants who want more general fulfillment management of courier and parcel terminals. The core distinction lies in the target shipping company and the level of user satisfaction. MyGLS Professional is specialized for GLS users in Eastern Europe and enjoys very high user ratings, while Omniva shipping offers broader functionality but suffers from very low user ratings, thus implying that MyGLS is the easier to use app.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily shipping with GLS in Eastern Europe and needing a complete solution including parcel shop integration and unlimited label printing, MyGLS Professional is the clear choice. The overwhelmingly positive reviews suggest a reliable and user-friendly experience. The Omniva shipping app, despite aiming for broader functionality, suffers from extremely low ratings, making it difficult to recommend in its current state.
Unless Omniva significantly improves its app's performance and user satisfaction, it's best suited for merchants who are heavily invested in the Omniva ecosystem and willing to overlook the potential issues. Even then, thorough testing is crucial before relying on it for critical shipping operations. MyGLS Professional, based on its ratings, provides a far more stable and valuable solution for its target audience.

Which app is suitable if I use multiple shipping carriers?
Based on the limited information provided, neither app explicitly supports integration with multiple carriers.
