MyGLS Professional vs Order Tracking Page Profor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and Order Tracking Page Pro both aim to improve the post-purchase experience for Shopify merchants, but they address distinct needs. MyGLS Professional focuses on streamlining the shipping process specifically for merchants using GLS (Eastern Europe), providing label creation, parcel shop integration, and automated order status tracking. It's a comprehensive solution for GLS users seeking to optimize their shipping workflow. Order Tracking Page Pro, on the other hand, is a general-purpose order tracking solution that allows merchants to embed a tracking widget on their storefront, empowering customers to independently check order status. It aims to reduce customer support inquiries and enhance customer satisfaction by providing a self-service tracking experience. The primary difference lies in their scope. MyGLS Professional is carrier-specific and process-oriented, directly impacting the shipping operation with features like label generation and parcel shop integration. Order Tracking Page Pro is customer-facing and communication-oriented, improving the customer's perception of the brand by offering convenient and transparent tracking information. While both ultimately contribute to a better customer experience, they target different aspects of the order fulfillment journey. Order Tracking Page Pro is much simpler and requires less specific infrastructure.

Our Verdict
For merchants who primarily ship using GLS (Eastern Europe) and require a robust solution for label creation, parcel shop integration, and automated order status tracking, MyGLS Professional is the clear choice. Its comprehensive features and unlimited label printing offer significant value. However, for merchants who want a simple, easy-to-implement order tracking solution that reduces support tickets and improves customer satisfaction, regardless of their shipping carrier, Order Tracking Page Pro is the more suitable option. The higher review count for MyGLS Professional also lends it some credibility, though both apps have positive ratings. The low review count for Order Tracking Page Pro should be noted; further investigation might be warranted.
Common Questions
Which app handles international shipping best?
MyGLS Professional is tailored for GLS Eastern Europe, so its international shipping capabilities are tied to that carrier's services. Order Tracking Page Pro simply displays tracking information regardless of the carrier, so it doesn't inherently offer better or worse international shipping support – that depends on the carriers the merchant uses.
Does MyGLS Professional work with carriers other than GLS?
Based on the description, MyGLS Professional is specifically designed for GLS. It does not appear to support other carriers.
Can I customize the look and feel of the tracking information with both apps?
Order Tracking Page Pro explicitly mentions widget customization within the theme editor. MyGLS Professional description focuses on shipping workflow, and not on direct customer facing tracking page customization; it seems the customer facing part will be what the parcel shop offers.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Order Tracking Page Pro appears to be easier to set up, as it is theme-editor compatible and requires no coding. MyGLS Professional, due to its GLS integration and feature set, likely has a steeper learning curve.
Which app is more cost-effective?
The provided information does not include pricing details for either app. A cost comparison would require pricing information from the Shopify App Store.
