MyGLS Professional vs Ordtrak Order Trackingfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and Ordtrak Order Tracking, despite sharing the 'Order tracking' category on the Shopify App Store, serve distinctly different purposes. MyGLS Professional is a specialized solution targeting merchants in Eastern Europe who use GLS for shipping. Its focus is on streamlining the GLS shipping process with features like unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order status tracking specifically within the GLS ecosystem. Ordtrak Order Tracking, on the other hand, offers a more general order tracking solution aimed at reducing 'Where is my order?' (WISMO) inquiries and boosting customer loyalty. The key difference lies in their scope and target audience. MyGLS Professional is a niche app heavily invested in the GLS shipping workflow, while Ordtrak Order Tracking is a broader solution for enhancing the post-purchase customer experience through branded tracking pages and proactive communication. MyGLS focuses on the operational aspects of shipping with GLS, while Ordtrak prioritizes customer engagement and sales optimization after an order has been placed. The stark contrast in ratings and number of reviews further highlights the differing levels of user satisfaction and market acceptance of these apps.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily using GLS for shipping in Eastern Europe, especially those needing to print a large volume of labels and integrate with GLS parcel shops, MyGLS Professional is the clear choice. Its 5-star rating and numerous reviews suggest a reliable and well-regarded solution within that specific context. However, for merchants seeking a more general order tracking solution applicable to various carriers and focused on enhancing the customer experience, Ordtrak Order Tracking is an option to consider, but the low rating and minimal reviews raise significant concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. Given the available data, unless Ordtrak has undergone significant improvements, MyGLS Professional is the safer bet, provided it aligns with the merchant's shipping provider and geographic focus.
