MyGLS Professional vs Posten Bring Checkoutfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and Posten Bring Checkout both address shipping needs for Shopify merchants, but target distinctly different geographic regions and logistics providers. MyGLS Professional is a third-party solution exclusively for GLS (General Logistics Systems) clients in Eastern Europe, focusing on unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and features like COD fee handling and zip code autofill for Romania. Its primary strength lies in comprehensive GLS-specific functionality and the absence of label printing limits, aiming to streamline GLS shipping operations for its users. Posten Bring Checkout, on the other hand, is an offering from Posten Bring AS, a direct provider of logistics solutions in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. It emphasizes seamless integration with their B2C services (mailbox, pickup point, home delivery), real-time rate configuration, and live tracking. While MyGLS Professional concentrates on advanced functionality for a specific carrier, Posten Bring Checkout focuses on user-friendliness and direct integration with their own logistics network. The key differentiator lies in the geographic scope, supported carrier, and the direct vs. third-party nature of the apps.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily shipping within Norway, Sweden, and Denmark using Posten Bring's services, the Posten Bring Checkout app is the obvious choice, offering direct integration and ease of use. The real-time rate configuration and live tracking features are compelling advantages.
However, if a merchant relies on GLS for shipping within Eastern Europe, especially if they require unlimited label printing and advanced functionalities like parcel shop integration and COD fee handling, MyGLS Professional is the superior option. Its higher rating (though based on significantly more reviews) suggests a strong positive user experience among its target audience.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Posten Bring Checkout explicitly mentions easy installation, suggesting a focus on user-friendliness. MyGLS Professional, while offering extensive features, doesn't emphasize ease of setup in its description.
Which app offers live tracking information?
Both apps offer tracking. MyGLS Professional offers 'Automatized order status tracking,' while Posten Bring Checkout provides 'Get live tracking information in your order list.' The distinction lies in how that tracking information is presented to the merchant.
Can I use both apps if I ship to both regions?
Potentially, yes. However, using both apps simultaneously would likely require managing separate shipping workflows for GLS and Posten Bring. It would be more efficient to use a single multi-carrier solution, if available, though neither of these are clearly that.
Which app allows me to set custom shipping rates?
Posten Bring Checkout explicitly states that you can 'Configure shipping prices & lead time for your web shop in real-time.' MyGLS Professional doesn't mention this directly.
Which app is more reliable?
Judging reliability solely on the provided data is difficult. While MyGLS Professional has a slightly higher rating, Posten Bring Checkout highlights that 'Our developers will ensure that the application is always up to date!' This implies a commitment to ongoing maintenance and reliability.
