Our Verdict
The choice between MyGLS Professional and PostNord by SYNKA+ hinges entirely on the shipping carrier a merchant intends to use. If a business relies on GLS for shipments primarily within Eastern Europe, MyGLS Professional, with its unlimited label printing and parcel shop integrations, is the clear winner. Conversely, if a merchant ships primarily with PostNord and requires automated waybill creation, tracking updates for customers, and support for export documentation, PostNord by SYNKA+ is the more suitable option. Merchants shipping within the Nordic region will find PostNord by SYNKA+ to be the better fit due to its specific features tailored for PostNord.
Common Questions
What happens if I use a carrier other than GLS or PostNord?
Neither app will be effective. Both apps are designed to work exclusively with their respective carriers. You will need to explore other carrier specific or multi-carrier shipping apps on the Shopify App Store.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
While technically possible, it is highly unlikely to be beneficial. They serve different carriers. Using both would only be sensible if you need to ship via *both* GLS and PostNord and want separate, streamlined solutions for each.
Which app is better for beginners?
PostNord by SYNKA+ may be slightly easier for beginners due to its automated features like waybill creation and customer tracking updates. However, this is speculative and depends on the user's familiarity with each carrier's systems.
Which app offers better customer support?
The provided information doesn't offer insight into the quality of customer support for either app. Look for other user reviews and documentation to determine which has superior support.
Are there any hidden fees with either app?
The provided descriptions do not mention hidden fees. However, it is always recommended to review the app's pricing plans and terms of service on the Shopify App Store to ensure transparency and understand any potential costs.
