Our Verdict
MyGLS Professional is the clear choice for Shopify merchants heavily reliant on GLS for Eastern European shipping. Its 5-star rating and 123 reviews, combined with its GLS-specific features, suggest a well-received and reliable solution. The emphasis on unlimited label printing is a significant advantage. PrinterCo Automatic Printing is suitable for merchants needing a streamlined order printing process, particularly those with physical store locations or high order volumes requiring quick printing of receipts. However, its lower rating and smaller number of reviews suggest merchants should proceed with caution and ensure compatibility with their existing hardware.
Common Questions
Which app offers better support for international shipping?
MyGLS Professional is directly integrated with GLS in Eastern Europe. While PrinterCo can print orders globally, it doesn't directly provide shipping integrations. So, MyGLS provides a more targeted shipping solution for a specific region.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, PrinterCo likely requires more technical setup due to printer compatibility and network configurations. MyGLS likely focuses on ease of integration with GLS services, streamlining the label and tracking configuration.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, yes. You could use MyGLS to handle GLS shipping and PrinterCo to automatically print order details for internal use or customer receipts. However, this would involve separate setups and configurations.
Which app is more scalable for a growing business?
MyGLS Professional, with its unlimited label printing, appears more scalable for businesses with increasing GLS shipping volumes. PrinterCo's scalability depends on the capacity of the connected printer and the reliability of its syncing mechanism. The cost of additional printers needs to be considered as volume grows with PrinterCo.
Does either app handle return label creation?
The descriptions provided do not explicitly mention return label creation for either app. It's best to check the app documentation or contact the developers to confirm if this feature is supported.
