MyGLS Professional vs The Courier Guyfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and The Courier Guy are both shipping apps available on the Shopify app store as of 2026. MyGLS Professional focuses on GLS (General Logistics Systems) shipping, specifically within Eastern Europe, and positions itself as an all-in-one solution for GLS clients. Its core strength lies in providing unlimited label printing, integrated parcel shop features, and automatized order status tracking for GLS shipments. It appears tailored for merchants heavily reliant on GLS for their shipping needs, especially those operating within or shipping to Eastern Europe and those needing advanced features such as COD fee handling and packing lists. The Courier Guy, on the other hand, is described only with a name and a rating, so determining its target audience and strengths is difficult. With significantly fewer reviews, less context is available compared to MyGLS Professional. Its overall rating is slightly lower, and the lack of feature details makes it hard to compare capabilities. Without more information, its appeal is limited compared to the comprehensive functionality explicitly outlined for MyGLS Professional.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants heavily utilizing GLS, especially within Eastern Europe, MyGLS Professional appears to be the superior choice due to its rich feature set, including unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order tracking. The high rating and significantly larger number of reviews further support its value proposition. Without more information about The Courier Guy, it's difficult to recommend it over MyGLS Professional.
If a merchant is *not* using GLS, or is using a wide variety of carriers, The Courier Guy *might* be a better fit, but only if it integrates with those carriers and offers competitive pricing. The lack of information available makes it a significantly riskier choice compared to the feature-rich MyGLS Professional if you are a GLS shipper.
