Our Verdict
MyGLS Professional is the clear choice for businesses primarily shipping to Eastern Europe via GLS and needing unlimited label printing. The specific features for GLS parcel shops and Romanian zip codes add significant value for this niche. UPS Shipping (Official) is the better option for merchants who utilize a broad range of UPS services and require robust order management and workflow automation. Its official status and comprehensive feature set make it suitable for businesses with diverse and complex shipping needs. However, if you don't use UPS services, this app won't be applicable.
Ultimately, the selection depends on the carrier and region most critical to your business. If your business relies heavily on GLS for Eastern European deliveries, MyGLS Professional is the superior choice. If you need comprehensive support for all UPS features, workflows, and shipping from multiple channels, then UPS Shipping (Official) is the better option.
Common Questions
What is the key difference in cost structure between MyGLS Professional and UPS Shipping (Official)?

Which app is easier to set up for a beginner?
MyGLS Professional is likely easier to set up for beginners focused solely on GLS shipping due to its specialized functionality. UPS Shipping (Official) might require more configuration due to its broader range of features and the need to link it to a pre-existing UPS account.
Which app is better for merchants who ship internationally?
UPS Shipping (Official) is generally better for merchants shipping internationally due to UPS's global reach and its features tailored for international shipping. While MyGLS Professional focuses on GLS, its description highlights features targeted at Eastern Europe specifically.
If I primarily ship to Romania, which app is more advantageous?
MyGLS Professional provides specific features for Romanian zip codes, which is advantageous. This makes it a more tailored solution than the generic international shipping features of UPS Shipping (Official).
Does UPS Shipping (Official) offer the equivalent of MyGLS Professional's parcel shop integration?
