Our Verdict
The choice between MyGLS Professional and Zenstores: UK Shipping hinges on the merchant's specific needs. If your business relies primarily on GLS, especially for Eastern European deliveries, and requires unlimited label creation and specialized GLS-centric features like COD handling, MyGLS Professional is the clear winner. However, if you are a UK-based ecommerce business that needs to ship with a variety of carriers (Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, etc.), and requires streamlined workflows, international shipping support, and automated tracking updates, Zenstores: UK Shipping provides a more comprehensive and suitable solution. Zenstores provides broader functionality for merchants needing flexibility and robust automation across multiple carriers.
Common Questions
Which app is better for businesses shipping internationally?
Zenstores: UK Shipping provides broader international shipping support, including IOSS integration and customs form automation, compared to MyGLS Professional which is primarily focused on GLS within Eastern Europe.
Can I use both apps to integrate multiple carriers with my Shopify store?
While technically possible, using both apps might lead to redundancy and potential conflicts. It's more efficient to choose one app that best suits your primary shipping needs and explore its multi-carrier support options if available. Zenstores offers multi-carrier shipping while MyGLS is focused on GLS.
Which app offers better customer tracking features?
Zenstores: UK Shipping explicitly mentions automated tracking updates to customers, whereas MyGLS Professional offers 'automatized order status tracking,' suggesting both offer tracking capabilities, but Zenstores is clearer about the customer-facing aspect.
Which app is more suitable for a small business with limited shipping volume?
It depends on the carrier. If the small business ships primarily with GLS, MyGLS may be beneficial due to its specialized GLS features. If they use a range of UK carriers, Zenstores might be better due to its broader carrier support and streamlined workflows, regardless of volume.
Does MyGLS Professional integrate with carriers other than GLS?
Based on the provided description, MyGLS Professional is primarily focused on GLS integration and doesn't explicitly mention support for other carriers. Its value proposition lies in its GLS-specific features.
