Navigo | Mobile Menu Tab Bar vs Scrolly: Scroll To Top Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
Navigo | Mobile Menu Tab Bar and Scrolly: Scroll To Top Button, while both aiming to improve store navigation, address fundamentally different aspects of the user experience. Navigo focuses on enhancing the mobile shopping experience through a customizable bottom menu bar, providing quick access to essential pages like collections, cart, and account. This app is designed to streamline mobile navigation, reduce friction, and boost conversions by creating a dedicated mobile-first experience. Scrolly, on the other hand, offers a simple yet effective solution for improving usability on longer pages by adding a 'scroll to top' button. Its primary goal is to facilitate effortless navigation back to the page's beginning, especially on product pages or blog posts. Scrolly is highly customizable in appearance, allowing merchants to seamlessly integrate the button with their store's design. The choice between the two depends heavily on the specific navigation challenges faced by a store and its target audience.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing the mobile shopping experience and providing a streamlined navigation experience for mobile users, Navigo | Mobile Menu Tab Bar is the clear choice. Its comprehensive feature set and focus on mobile conversion optimization make it ideal for stores prioritizing mobile traffic. On the other hand, if the main concern is improving navigation on longer pages and enhancing user experience for all devices with a simple 'back to top' button, Scrolly: Scroll To Top Button is a more suitable and straightforward solution. Scrolly is especially beneficial for stores with extensive product descriptions, blog content, or lengthy landing pages. A store could even use both apps: Navigo to optimize the overall mobile experience and Scrolly to address issues on specific long-form pages.
Common Questions
What problem does Navigo solve that Scrolly does not?
Navigo addresses the challenges of mobile navigation by providing a customizable bottom menu bar, enabling quick access to key pages and features on mobile devices. Scrolly does not offer this comprehensive mobile navigation solution, instead focusing on a single 'scroll to top' functionality.
Is Scrolly better for stores that don't have a strong mobile presence?
Potentially. Scrolly provides a simple and universal benefit – easier navigation on long pages – that applies regardless of device. While Navigo provides significant value for mobile users, Scrolly can still enhance the user experience for desktop and tablet users browsing extensive content.
Does Navigo require any coding knowledge to customize?
While Navigo emphasizes ease of use, it also provides customization options using CSS, which may require some coding knowledge for advanced modifications. However, the core features are designed to be user-friendly without coding.
Can I customize the appearance of the button in Scrolly?
Yes, Scrolly is highly customizable. You can change the button's color, shape, size, hover color, position on the page, horizontal and vertical distances (padding), and animation.
What if I want a more advanced mobile navigation solution than what Navigo offers?
While Navigo offers comprehensive customization, you may explore more advanced Shopify app alternatives if you need specific mobile features not offered by Navigo (e.g., advanced filtering, augmented reality features). Always evaluate the app based on your specific needs.
