Nex Reorder Payment method vs SupaElements: Custom Checkoutfor Shopify (2026)
Nex Reorder Payment method and SupaElements: Custom Checkout both aim to improve the Shopify checkout experience, but they approach it from fundamentally different angles. Nex Reorder Payment method focuses solely on optimizing the payment method selection process by allowing merchants to reorder, sort, or hide payment options based on various conditions. This aims to reduce chargebacks, shipping fees, and improve conversion rates by providing a more relevant and convenient checkout experience. SupaElements: Custom Checkout, on the other hand, takes a broader approach, enabling merchants to customize the entire checkout, order status, and thank you pages with additional components for cross-selling, upselling, and branding. Nex Reorder Payment method is ideal for merchants primarily concerned with optimizing their payment gateway presentation to minimize friction and costs associated with payment processing. SupaElements: Custom Checkout is better suited for merchants who want a highly customized and branded checkout experience to increase average order value and enhance customer engagement beyond just payment options. While both offer multichannel support, SupaElements also includes social media channels. The significant difference in the number of reviews suggests a disparity in market adoption, with Nex Reorder Payment method potentially being the more established or widely adopted solution.
