Nivoda Connect vs Wholesale Pricing Discount B2Bfor Shopify (2026)
Nivoda Connect and Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B are both Shopify apps within the 'Sourcing options' and 'Wholesale' categories, but they serve fundamentally different business needs. Nivoda Connect focuses on enabling jewelry retailers to expand their product catalog by integrating with the Nivoda platform, providing access to a vast inventory of diamonds and gemstones. It streamlines the process of selling customized jewelry online, including features like ring building and dynamic pricing. Its strength lies in offering a specialized solution for the jewelry industry, facilitating access to global inventory and customized product offerings. It is designed for jewelry retailers looking to expand their inventory without managing physical stock themselves. Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B, on the other hand, caters to merchants looking to implement wholesale pricing and B2B functionality within their existing Shopify stores. It provides tools for setting up custom pricing, tiered discounts, and wholesale shipping rates. Furthermore, it offers B2B-specific features such as registration forms, net payment terms, and support for Shopify Markets for international wholesale. The app aims to allow merchants to serve both retail and wholesale customers from a single store, or create a separate wholesale storefront. The large number of reviews indicate wide adoption and a longer track record compared to Nivoda Connect. It is designed for merchants looking to expand into the wholesale market or manage their existing B2B operations more efficiently. The primary differentiator lies in their target merchant: Nivoda Connect serves jewelers, while Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B targets businesses selling both retail and wholesale across various industries.

Our Verdict
For jewelry retailers aiming to expand their inventory with diamonds and gemstones and offer custom ring designs without managing physical inventory, Nivoda Connect is the clear choice. Its integration with the Nivoda platform simplifies the sourcing and customization process within the jewelry niche. However, the relatively low number of reviews should be considered.
Conversely, for merchants in any industry looking to implement wholesale pricing, manage B2B operations, and offer tiered discounts alongside their existing retail business, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B is the more suitable option. Its comprehensive B2B features and high number of positive reviews suggest it's a robust and reliable solution for managing both retail and wholesale customers. The established user base also means better resources and community support.
Common Questions
Can both apps be used together on the same Shopify store?
Technically, yes, but it would be highly unusual and likely unnecessary. They address different segments of the business. Nivoda Connect is for expanding Jewelry offering, while Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B addresses B2B Operations across the entire store, which would not make sense to use together.
Does Nivoda Connect handle wholesale pricing for jewelers?
While Nivoda Connect integrates with the Nivoda platform, which may have wholesale pricing within its system, the app description primarily focuses on sourcing and customization for retail sales. It's not explicitly stated if it supports wholesale pricing features for jewelers themselves to offer.
Is Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B difficult to set up?
While the 4.6/5 rating suggests good satisfaction, the app's comprehensive feature set for B2B operations indicates a potentially more complex setup compared to Nivoda Connect, which focuses on a narrower use case. The large review count means more resources are available to learn how to use it, but the process may still take time.
Does Nivoda Connect integrate with accounting software?
The app description does not mention integrations with accounting software. This would need to be verified with the app developer directly. Given its focus on sourcing and product catalog expansion, accounting integrations might be a secondary consideration.
Can I use Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B if I only sell retail products?
While Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B is designed for wholesale functionality, some of its features, such as tiered pricing and custom discounts, could potentially be used for retail promotions. However, if your business is strictly retail, other discount apps might be a better fit.
